Jindřich Nepomuk Trochel publishes a publication about Bílinské kyselce from the Lobkovice directorate he founded in the princely town of Bílina.
1810
JW Goethe was a regular visitor to the Bílina spa. Together with important scientists of the time, they were engaged in the search for a genuine German stratovolcano. Bílinská mountain Bořeň was a serious candidate, but A. Reuss himself came to the conviction that it is not a real volcano. Today we know that this is phreatomagmatic volcanism, a volcano under the surface of the sea. Here we see an original Goethe engraving of Bořná.

The building of the octagonal bottling plant of Skalní and Josefova pramene Bílinské kyselky. Pictures from the bottling plant in Bílina were used in Austro-Hungarian textbooks as illustrations of an exemplary and hygienically perfect workplace. The entire machinery was powered by a new, 100-horsepower electric motor.
